Nissan Elgrand (TE52/TNE52/PE52/PNE52). 2010 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door MPV. F/F, F/A, 2488 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 3498 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Elgrand and Quest became sister cars with the E52, switching to the Nissan Teana (J32)’s front-wheel-drive platform. Longer, wider and lower, and well equipped, with power rear doors that operate with a touch of the door handle, and 11-inch rear monitor. Moving object detection feature from 2011, which examined any movement around the car, such as pedestrians or shopping carts; parking guide showed on the screen where the white lines and turning direction were relative to the van. No spare tyre, making do with a puncture kit. Parking assist, from 2012, actually braked the car before a collision. Facelift in 2014, with larger front grille and lights.
