Imposing, stylish award-winning SUV, finding favour in its home market, and a departure from the Jeep-based models. Mahindra’s first monocoque off-roader, available also as front-wheel-drive model. W6 denoted front-drive; W8 all-wheel drive. In-house-developed six-speed gearbox. Acceptable performance from four-cylinder turbodiesel. Cheap plastics inside though reasonably well screwed together. Three rows of seating possible. Facelift in 2018 with some equipment upgrades, though still behind the competition on perceived quality inside.
