Mahindra Verito. 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. F/F, 1461 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 21·2 kWh electric. Indianized Dacia Logan I. Originally the Verito was a rebadged version of the original Logan made in Maharashtra, renamed after Renault left the venture, but in 2012 the Indian company began distancing the car from the original. Grille now reminiscent of Mahindra Xylo. Executive Edition in 2014, with stripes, touchscreen navigation and leather seats. Electric model, the eVerito, from 2016, but with low levels of equipment (e.g. airbag for driver only) and limited range (140 km). Diesel not upgraded to the BS6 emissions’ standard, and officially discontinued in 2020, though sales had been dropping for years.
