Lincoln continues with a CD-segment sedan entry in China, despite pulling out in the US, replacing less-than-popular MKZ. Filled a gap in the Chinese range, which was SUV-heavy, without a domestically produced sedan. Launched March 2022. C2 platform, shared with Mondeo and Evos. Length at nearly 5 m, beyond the CD-segment norm, and encroaching on the segment above, including high level of standard equipment on top models (including massaging seats, 13 speakers, 128-colour ambient lighting, steering wheel heating, and facial recognition). Full LCD instrument panel (12·3 in) and 27-inch central control screen inside. Two-litre turbo engine developing a respectable 181 kW and 376 Nm. Excellent starting price for Chinese market, to tempt buyers, though maintenance costs on par with BMW 3er-Reihe (G20).
