Lancia Flavia (Tipo 815/Tipo 819/Tipo 820). 1960–71 (prod. 105,848 incl. 2000). 4-door saloon, 2-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/F, 1488, 1800, 1991 cm³ (F4 OHV). Boxy saloon and sleeker coupé line inspired by FWD CEMSA Caproni prototype, developed under Antonio Fessia. Coupé from 1962 had tuned engine; convertibles by Vignale and designed by Michelotti, with optional hardtop available. Zagato made its Flavia Sport, covered separately. Larger 1·8 from 1963, iniezione from 1965. Major facelift in 1967, with shield grille for saloon; coupé had less complicated one, with power steering added for LX, with electric windows available. Rust a major problem with the Flavias.
