Isuzu 117 Coupé. 1968–81 (prod. 86,192). 2-door 2+2 coupé. F/R, 1584, 1817, 1949 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1584, 1817 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 2238 cm³ diesel (I4 OHV). Advanced, stylish coupé from Japan’s oldest automaker: first Japanese car with a DOHC engine and electronic fuel injection. Shared floorpan with Isuzu Florian (117). Giugiaro-styled, but at Ghia, before ItalDesign. Facelifted in 1977, two-litre from 1978, diesel from 1979.
