Holden (HZ series). 1977–80 (prod. 154,155 all versions). 2-door utility, 2-door panel van, 2-door chassis-cab. F/R, 3310 cm³ (6 cyl. OHV), 4142, 5044 cm³ (V8 OHV). HZ series denoted replacement for short-lived HX of 1976, with Belmont, Kingswood, GTS (Monaro in the brochures), Premier and Statesman models. Only one was “model-less”, covered here: the utility, panel van and chassis–cab versions (though there were Belmont and Kingswood utes and vans, too, plus a version called the Sandman). Different grille for chassis–cab. Addition of Radial Tuned Suspension for better handling.
