Geely Haoqing (吉利豪情) SUV. 2014–16 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 2378 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Geely’s flagship SUV, reviving an old nameplate from the company’s early days. Basic models with front-wheel drive only, and, unlike many SUVs in China, there is an all-wheel-drive option. Motor shows had previewed an Emgrand EX8, but that model never emerged as Geely pulled the plug on the Emgrand marque, and the GX9 designation was seen in early photographs. Seven-seater configuration, and wood and chrome on the inside, along with dual-zone air conditioning and leather seats. Five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Very short-lived.
