Ford Meteor (BF/KC/KE). 1985–95 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1296, 1490, 1587 cm³ (I4 OHC). As before, a booted Ford Laser by another name, sold in Australia and South Africa. Aussie models wore Laser name from 1987 on, when it was absorbed into that range, but South Africa kept its Meteors going till 1995, when it was replaced at the entry level by the Ford Tonic, essentially a rebadged Mazda Familia (BF).
