Revisions aimed at improving exhaust emissions due to Australian Design Rules; cross-flow cylinder head on sixes. Ride, handling improved. More formal grille. Lowered window line at rear in response to customer feedback. Coupé hardly changed at rear, though sedan got wrap-around lights. No Futura in XC line. Upgrades across range in May 1978.
