Fiat Stilo (Progetto 192). 2001–10 (prod. 767,000 approx.). 3- and 5-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/F, 1242, 1796 cm³ petrol, 1910 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 1368, 1596, 1747, 2446 cm³ petrol, 1910 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Heavy replacement for Bravo and Brava, with less sophisticated suspension (torsion beam across rear axle), not selling particularly well for Fiat. Estate dubbed Multi Wagon. Lazy to drive, though quality acceptable and priced keenly. Not the most reliable. Replaced 2007 in Europe, but continued in Brazil to 2010. A big loser for Fiat, costing the company €2,100 million.
