Daihatsu Rocky (F300S). 1988–2002 (prod. n/a). 3-door UV. F/R, F/A, 1589 cm³ (I4 OHC). Daihatsu launches a small off-roader using the export name of its earlier Rugger model. Simple engineering, with ladder frame; removable resin top. Engine shared with Daihatsu Applause. Both part-time and full-time 4WD systems available. Mid-term changes in 1993. Supplanted in Japan in 1997 by the Toyota RAV4 (XA10G). Exported to some markets as Daihatsu Feroza. Related to Bertone Freeclimber 2.
