Chrysler Valiant Charger. 1970–5 (prod. 1,935 sold). 2-door coupé. F/R, 3689 cm³ (I6 OHV). Unrelated to the Australian car of the same name (listed under Chrysler Valiant (VH) and Chrysler Valiant (VJ), as well as its own listings under Chrysler Charger), the South African Valiant Charger was a version of the US Dodge Demon and Plymouth Duster. Grille from the Chrysler Valiant VIP. Slant-6 under the bonnet, developing 142 kW. Wider tyres from 1973. Sales plummeted for 1974 and recovered slightly for 1975.
