Chrysler Charger (VK). 1975–6 (prod. 20,555 all VK). 2-door coupé. F/R, 3523, 4014, 4342 cm³ (I6 OHV), 5211, 5899 cm³ (V8 OHV). Revised version of short-wheelbase VJ coupés, offered in XL and 770 trims. Valiant model name dropped for this series. Smarter, more formal appearance, with equipment upgrades. Emissions’ regulations meant smallest 215 and largest 360 in³ units dropped at beginning of 1976; further engine changes in July 1976. Small production run, affected by fuel crisis.
