Chevrolet Kingswood/Chevrolet Kingswood Estate Wagon (B-car). 1969–70 (prod. 1,168,300 for all 1969 full-size; unknown for 1970 wagons). 5-door wagon. F/R, 327, 350, 396, 400, 427, 454 in³ (V8 OHV). Top station wagons for full-sized Chevrolet range, with Kingswood equivalent to Chevrolet Impala (1969–70) and Kingswood Estate, with simulated wood trim, equivalent to top-of-the-line Chevrolet Caprice (1969–70). Restyled for 1969 and extra safety equipment (such as headrests, federally mandated), and optional concealed headlamps. Front- and rear-end restyles for 1970, with minimal mechanical changes. Two-way tailgate, opening down or sideways; opening the latter way revealed a cut-out in the rear bumper which acted as a step.
