Chevrolet 3800/Chevrolet 4100. 1972–8 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 3769, 4095 cm³ (I6 OHV). South African edition of Opel Rekord D mated to Chevrolet sixes. Plain styling, but popular among large car buyers in South Africa. Known for quality, which was needed given the confusion of brand names at GM South Africa at the time. Quad round headlamps instead of single square units on 2500. Golden Anniversary special editions in 1976, commemorating 50 years of local assembly by GMSA.
