Buick LeSabre (B-body). 1977–89 (prod. n/a). 2- and 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 3792, 4129 cm³ (V6 OHV), 4942, 5034, 5726, 6595 cm³ petrol, 5737 cm³ diesel (V8 OHV). Downsized B-body, slightly smaller than Electra, on 116 in wheelbase. Roomy, far more refined than previous model, good ride with softly sprung chassis. Sport Coupé featured turbo V6 through 1980. Estate wore LeSabre moniker from 1980 to 1989, returning to the Estate nameplate in 1990. Sedans replaced by front-wheel-drive model in 1986.
