Brasinca 4200 GT
From AutocadeBrasinca 4200 GT. 1964–6 (prod. 76, incl. 3 convertibles). 2-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/R, 4271 cm³ (I6 OHV). Very rare Brazilian sports car, the brainchild of Rigoberto Soler Gisbert and Ângelo Mário Gonçalves, made by a truck and bus coachbuilder. Chevrolet truck engine, triple SU carburettors, in two tunes initially (155 and 166 hp gross). GT S (after May 1966) had 171 hp, while racing version, the GT SS, had 178 hp. Made in steel. Very expensive to build, and the venture folded after two years, built briefly by STV after Brasinca lost interest due to the high costs. Also known as the Uirapuru.
