Besturn (一汽奔騰/一汽奔腾) X80. 2013–18 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1798, 1999, 2259 cm³ (I4 DOHC). FAW puts an Infiniti EX-like SUV body on the Mazda Atenza (GG) platform. No four-wheel drive, targeting urban buyers. Quality still left something to be desired compared with joint-venture models with foreign input, though FAW was narrowing the gap. Not very refined, with engine noise creeping into the cabin. Firm ride, with handling the X80’s party trick, thanks to the Mazda tech.
