A true successor to the BMW 2er-Reihe (F22), on the rear-wheel-drive CLAR platform for longitudinal engines, rather than front-wheel drive as with other 2er models. Wider and longer, and despite the use of aluminium up front, heavier than the F22 (based on the M240i). No convertible, or manual transmission. Well put together interior.
