Austin A135 Princess. 1947–56 (prod. 1,910). 4-door saloon, 4-door LWB saloon, plus other coachbuilt styles. F/R, 3993 cm³ (I6 OHV). After acquiring Vanden Plas, Austin named the top model, with a body from the Kingsbury firm, the A135 Princess. Mk II in 1950, Mk III in 1953, but with no major changes. Bought for ceremonial use and by limousine companies, but found few private buyers.
